Toddler 19 months - 3 years

At Bright Bees, we are committed to providing a nurturing, stimulating environment where toddlers can thrive. With our Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum, we support each child’s curiosity and growth through an open-concept space that allows them to explore and engage in activities based on their individual interests and developmental needs. We prioritize the development of the whole child—physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively—creating a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Tailored Programs for Development

We believe that every child learns and develops at their own pace. That’s why we create programs that are thoughtfully designed to support the unique developmental needs of each toddler. Our activities are carefully crafted to promote social skills, language development, emotional growth, and cognitive abilities. By offering a mix of structured and free-choice activities, we ensure that each child has the opportunity to engage in experiences that align with their developmental stage.

Fostering Fine and Gross Motor Skills

Supporting the development of both fine and gross motor skills is an integral part of our toddler program. Through a variety of hands-on activities, we help toddlers build their physical abilities and coordination:

  • Fine Motor Skills: Activities like building with small blocks, drawing, painting, threading beads, and using scissors or utensils help strengthen hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity. These activities also promote independence as children practice self-care skills like feeding themselves and dressing.

  • Gross Motor Skills: We also focus on large motor development, providing toddlers with opportunities to run, jump, climb, and balance. Whether it's through outdoor play, dancing, or simple physical games, we help toddlers develop their strength, coordination, and body awareness, supporting their ability to engage in more complex movements as they grow.

Exploration and Discovery

Our spacious toddler area is designed to encourage children to explore and make choices based on their interests. With a wide range of learning centers and activities—ranging from sensory play and art to building and pretend play—children can follow their natural curiosity and develop their skills in a fun, hands-on environment. The open layout promotes free exploration, creativity, and social interaction.

Reggio-Inspired Curriculum

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, our curriculum views children as active, capable learners who are deeply engaged in their own learning process. Our teachers act as facilitators, offering materials and opportunities that encourage open-ended exploration. By asking thoughtful questions and guiding children through problem-solving and critical thinking, we nurture their curiosity and help them express their ideas in meaningful ways.

Hot Lunch Provided

At Bright Bees, we provide a nutritious hot lunch each day, ensuring that every child has the energy they need to thrive throughout the day. Our meals are balanced and made with fresh, wholesome ingredients to support your child’s health and growth. We believe that proper nutrition is essential for cognitive and physical development, and our meal program is designed to nourish both body and mind.

A Safe and Stimulating Space

Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed to be safe, spacious, and filled with resources that support both individual exploration and social interaction. The environment encourages children to engage with materials that foster both fine and gross motor skills, creativity, and problem-solving. Whether it’s building a tower with blocks, running through an obstacle course, or creating art, every activity is designed to challenge and develop key physical and cognitive skills.

At Bright Bees, we are dedicated to providing a well-rounded experience that supports the holistic development of each child. Through a blend of intentional programming, hands-on play, and a focus on both fine and gross motor skills, we help toddlers develop confidence, independence, and a deep love of learning.
