Jen Alberto is a dedicated early childhood educator with over 13 years of experience in childcare. Her journey in the field began after moving to Canada, where she worked in both daycare settings and as a day home provider, gaining hands-on experience in nurturing and supporting children’s growth and development. Before her career in early learning, Jen was a Nutritionist and Dietitian in the Philippines, where she developed a strong understanding of children’s health and nutrition—knowledge that continues to influence her approach to childcare today. She pursued further studies at NorQuest College and Red Deer Polytechnic, expanding her expertise and reinforcing her commitment to quality early childhood education. As a mother of three children, ages 23, 21, and 16, Jen brings a warm, family-centered perspective to her work. Her deep love for children and passion for community service inspired her to establish Bright Bees Daycare & Out of School Care, a non-profit childcare center built on values of care, learning, and inclusivity. Jen’s philosophy is rooted in creating a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn. Her lifelong dedication to children’s well-being and education continues to make a meaningful impact in the community she serves
With nearly a decade in the food service industry, including managerial roles, She possesses strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills valuable for our daycare. Faye's experience allows her to efficiently manage daily operations while maintaining safety and quality standards, fostering a nurturing environment. As a Registration Coordinator for four years, she honed skills in record management and family engagement, essential for building trust with parents and ensuring smooth administrative operations. Her decade-long passion for home baking aligns with our emphasis on healthy meals for children. As a mother of two, Faye recognizes the significance of a safe, nurturing childcare setting, providing insight into family needs. She holds a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator License, enabling me to contribute to the children's educational and developmental growth. Her diverse background in management and creative fields equips me to offer a well-rounded approach, ensuring our daycare is safe, engaging, and supportive for every child.
Lalaine Quinto began her early childhood education career of 23 years as an elementary school teacher in the Philippines, where she received her Bachelor in Elementary Education. She earned her Level 3 Early Childhood Supervisor certificate, alongside a Class A Certification for Out of School Care, and has studied at Grant MacEwan and Grand Prairie College. Lalaine has also amassed extensive experience managing multiple daycares at once, in directorship and assistant directorship positions for six years. As a mother to two teenage boys, she shows great compassion and love for children, their families, and the community of Edmonton as a whole.
Trinee has devoted her career to education and child development, beginning as a Senior High School Teacher in the Philippines for 30 years. Her engaging teaching style, knowledge of history and social studies, and commitment to her students' growth made a lasting impact. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and a Master’s in Teaching Social Studies/History, enhancing her expertise. After relocating to Edmonton, she transitioned to early childhood education, working for 16 years as an Early Childhood Educator with a Level 3 Certification. This blend of experience allows her to incorporate structure, creativity, and compassion in her work. Trinidad also embraces the arts, enjoying singing and dancing to create engaging learning experiences. Her energy and dedication make her a beloved figure among children, families, and colleagues. Through her decades of teaching, she continues to inspire the next generation with enthusiasm and a passion for learning.
